How To Use the Major Blues Scale in a 12-Bar Blues
Hello Cherries! There's another angle to approach blues soloing. Most players including myself play the blues with the minor pentatonic or blues scale. Even know that can sound so good it's always a little tricky because your using a minor scale to play over a dominant chord which is major. You have to bend the minor 3rd up sometimes. With the major blues scale "Think Allman Brothers," you're taking a happier scale with the option of making it sadder. So minor blues starts sad but you can make happy.
