Half and Whole Steps are the Foundation for Building Musical Scales

Hello Cherries! Do you know the formula for creating a Major scale, or any scale ๐Ÿคจ If not, "don't fret it." Actually you want to fret it. If you go up or down the fretboard one fret at a time its called a half step. If you go up or down 2 frets it's called a whole step or a "Step." A scale is just a series of half and whole steps in a certain order. Some scales have a step and a half between notes.
