Half and Whole Steps are the Foundation for Building Musical Scales

Hello Cherries! Do you know the formula for creating a Major scale, or any scale 🤨 If not, "don't fret it." Actually you want to fret it. If you go up or down the fretboard one fret at a time its called a half step. If you go up or down 2 frets it's called a whole step or a "Step." A scale is just a series of half and whole steps in a certain order. Some scales have a step and a half between notes. That's 3 half steps if your keeping up 😊 In this ⬇️NEW VIDEO⬇️ I'll show you the formula for the Major scale. Have you ever tried to find the Triads within the Pentatonic Shapes 🤨 Triads are groups of three notes (root, third, and fifth) 🧐 By identifying these triads, you can create more melodic and harmonic lines. In this ⬇️ NEW VIDEO ⬇️ I go through all 5 Major Pentatonic Positions, 1 string set at a time. Within these positions were going to play the Major Pentatonic Scale and find the triad within the string set. I offer a FREE PDF of all the graphs that I created for this video.
