How To Play Chord Tones Using Triads and Scales

Hello Cherries! To play chord tones using triads and scales, first identify the chord tones 1, 3, 5 of a triad and then integrate them into a larger scale pattern like the major or minor scale and pentatonic scale. A common method is to create phrases that start on a non-chord tone from the scale and resolve to a chord tone from the triad, often at the end of a musical phrase. This connects the arpeggiated sound of the triad with the flow of the scale. In this NEW VIDEO I'll show you how to apply this approach over two chord progressions, one major, and one minor. Enjoy the video and have a great week Everybody 🎸
