This scale gives you an essential vocabulary for adding sophisticated, colorful, and tension-filled harmonies / chords to your playing, especially in jazz and advanced harmony. You don't need to be a jazz player to appreciate and use these chords. I'm not a jazz player. Use these chords in your songwriting, or for expanding your improvisational skills.
