Hello Cherries! The Melodic Minor is a very cool and useful scale. You’ll learn chords from this scale that you’ll play all the time in all kinds of music. The diatonic chords don’t always sound good together from one to another but individually they sound amazing. The thing is that all 7 of its chord have a certain job or function and that's just like any other scale and it's to lead back to it's tonic 1 chord. The chord shapes are valuable like CmM7, Dm7b9, B7#9 Hendrix Chord, 7 in total. When you learn this scales harmony you instantly learn a bunch a great new chords. This is only part 1. There so much involved here that I broke it up into 2 parts. Next week we'll do part 2 where you can use the chords in this scale to modulate anywhere on the fretboard into any key.
